In Canada it used to be called Bay Day because the bay had a one day sale in November before Xmas (apparently that includes Indians too if they have money), but the big box stores got greedy and made a pact with Diablo and called it Black Friday, the day the slave ships landed in Boston Harbour, and they don't even have special sales for black ( Read more... )
